SPRING CLASS SCHEDULE

SUMMER 2010

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT CLASSES

All classes are held at our store location at 19 Sugar Hollow Road in Danbury, Connecticut, unless otherwise indicated.  For driving directions, please go to our directions page.  Class sizes are limited, so please register early.  You may register by phone or in person at our store.  Full payment is required at time of registration.  We accept cash, personal checks, Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.  Store credit will be issued for cancellations within five days of the first class session.  All materials and supplies must be purchased before the first class session unless otherwise stated.  A sewing machine is required for sewing and quilting classes and basic familiarity with its operation is assumed.  FabricTree reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient enrollment within five days of the first class session.

SPECIAL EVENT!

Sewing Summer Camp!

Ages 10 and up can sew every day for a week and make an outfit for the first day of school.  Bring a snack or lunch, stay cool, and go home with a new ensemble.  Basic knowledge of your sewing machine & techniques required.

Young people ages 10 & up have an opportunity to learn to sew small projects, clothing, easy home decorating, and crafts.
Thursday 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Limited to four per class.

Pillow Class - Anita Ayoob
This much sought after class is available again.  Come & learn how to add your own signature touch to your décor by making corded piping, inserting a zipper the correct way and putting your pillow together.  Class size is limited; don’t miss out!

Quilting 101 - Jo Ann Brown
Do you admire all the quilts on display?  You can learn to make them too.  Start from the beginning, brush up on your skills, get help finishing stalled projects, learn new techniques.  More dates upon demand.

Pagoda - Hilda Downing
Twelve-inch blocks that have curves around the center use only three fabrics with good contrast.  No templates are needed; make a wall-hanging or lap size.  Pattern required.

Wild Goose Chase- Hilda Downing
Recreate a stunning two-color quilt.  Geese fly into the center of the block creating a spectacular star.  This is an oldie, but goodie from Eleanor Burns.  You can also do it scrappy.  Pattern required.

Drop-in Knitting & Crocheting - Jo Ann Brown

Curlicue/Swirly Shawl - Jo Ann Brown
Many have been admiring the shawl sample on our mannequin knit with Zauberball, the hottest new yarn on the market.  You can get a good jump on this project that includes short rows, wrap & turn and wedges.  Pattern required.
