KNITTING GUILD
"THE FAIRFIELD COUNTY
KNITTING TREE"
Our Knitting Guild is open to
everyone and meets the first Friday
of every month. The purpose of the Guild is twofold: to
get together and enjoy knitting in good company, and to
contribute to
community projects (the Guild has produced chemo hats and blankets for
a local Womens'
Center and supports The Heifer Project).
The Knitting Guild is
affiliated with the Knitting Guild Association, (formerly the
Knitting Guild of America) and enjoys all the benefits of this
parent organization such as free publicity, references on KGA
website, advance notice of sponsored knitting events, and
notices in their quarterly magazine.
Membership dues are $ 25 for one year
which includes discounts on yarns, special workshops and a
